This is a bowable bass. The neck is built to feel like an upright bass. It has an adjustable tailpin like a cello so you can sit and play it like a cello or put a strap on it and play as a bass guitar.
The top, back, and neck are mahogany while the fingerboard, bridge, and tailpiece are made from maple. The scale length is 34 inch. It has an Artec Piezo pickup inserted in an adjustable bridge and Artec preamp mounted on side facing the player. Preamp has 3 band equalizer.
This bass has the sound and feel of an upright bass but is much easier to handle and transport.
Hardshell cello case included.
This guitar is made of flamed maple top, back, sides, neck, and accessories. It has 24 frets all easy to reach. Walnut rectangular markers and inlay. The pickup is Benedetto S-6.
I designed this model with comfort in mind and it surpassed my expectations. The sound is also way beyond what you might expect from a guitar this size. It sounds very rich acoustically as well as electrically.
This is a hollow body guitar with parallel bracing. The scale length is 24 5/8”.
